About Sophistry

"Forgiving is one thing, is internal act in secret in the heart. Another thing, quite different, is not letting the consequences of his actions who behaved improperly. "   [E-mail]

Cavil is to "look" of truth to an argument, but if this esmiuçarmos
argument we see that it does not correspond to an observable reality.
The Sophistry is a very subtle trap of thinking this is its main features and even skilled thinkers have difficulty escaping from their webs.
It is important to understand the mechanisms of sophistry, because it is the best tool MANIPULATION that Philosophy offers.
Serves both as a handle not to be manipulated.
As I said, you can not put everything here that I have observed floating through the Abyss, we will analyze the sophistry of the above didactic way possible, come with me!

In the World of Thoughts no clear rules, all varies according to the plane of thought, but we'll take a shortcut that almost always works, go to a definition as possible of the basic word for "try" to escape the maze of letters.

Forgive acquit = pen = cancel any type of punishment or retribution.

Logo is one thing to forgive and absolve the penalty ... is the same thing.

If Jesus forgive me of my sins is not that I have not committed, it simply will not inflict any punishment myself.

I do not despise a sophist, I notice that many thinkers to realize a sophism now doubt the character who uttered, but understand that:

Every handler is a sophist, but not every sophist is manipulative.

Although the email is clear sophistry, I do not think it was with the intention of manipulation, just fits me deepen the debate and not simply
despise the author or doubt his character.

Let the example: An atheist can be an excellent pastor, know exactly quibble that the herd wants to hear sermons and conduct efficient, handle well the audience to take advantage, he is a manipulator.
However it has excellent pastors who do not delve much in the analysis of the Bible and believe strongly in the utter fallacy that we can not say that they are being manipulative, his sermons are in good faith, truly believe in the doctrine they preach.

I will only complicate matters a bit more after confinement.
Sophistry and I know I'm a good handler, but use my knowledge to harm anyone then a handler is not necessarily an evil person, one more reason not to demonizarmos the sophistry we analyze it as just another tool of Philosophy .
Emerson really believed in sophistry uttered and have as great friend.
Marx and Freud at some point realized that his theories were based on fallacies and yet KNOWINGLY continued with them to maybe not lose prestige and did great harm to humanity.
I hope all who read this blog are not easily manipulated and passed to handlers do this sparingly, use this skill for the BEM.
Even if they do not bring prestige, do good simply because it is LOGICAL.
"Adolf Hitler was raised by his father, who was a Catholic, and his mother, who was also a devout Christian. Hitler, however, failed to participate in the sacraments and went on to support the German Christian Movement. In his book, Mein Kampf, he said following the principles of Christianity. Before the start of World War II, Hitler promoted the so-called "positive Christianity", a move that purged all elements of Christianity and Judaism inserted Nazi ideals. According controversial manuscripts written by Martin Bormann, Hitler's personal secretary, entitled Tischgespräche, besides the testimony of close friends of Hitler, claimed that he had negative views of Christianity. But the majority claimed that he was a deist. [Wikipedia]

PS: Notice how the sophistry can be complex.
Chaplin was undeniably a great artist, but does not appear to have had a wonderful character, many say it was difficult to work with.
Hitler actually believed in God or it facilitated manipulate people?
"Decipher me or I will devour!"
