Mr. Shaw is like all Communist and Communist Capitalism believes that our society has deteriorated and the "true" communism is the solution to all our problems.
Mr. Shaw thinks our society is the result of capitalism, but I think quite the contrary, capitalism is the result of human nature.
Communism is the result of an attempt to thinkers like Shaw who want to change human nature or they see badly.
I have commented here how difficult it is to change how we feel, change our nature.
The vision that we are all "common" in the sense of "equal" is a mistake and ideologies that is based on errors of this size can not resist if confronted with reality, need to be maintained with ILLUSION.

We are all equal [or should be] before the law, so to say that we are all equal in all other relations of life vai a distance immeasurable.Until our laws regarding equality can be kept in check, a pregnant woman or a person with more than 60 years longer entitled to a seat on the bus than I do.

I never earned much money, also never had the good fortune of having great opportunities, however have much financial sense and have no debts.There are people who earn a lot and is always in debt.
Some work and study hard to have a better future other live day to day without worrying too much about what's coming.
The diversity of types is large and only capitalism can make room for all.
Therefore, to understand why capitalism works better than communism just LOOK human diversity, Capitalism has over our face, responds best to our earthly nature.
In my family we are on 5 brothers, 4 Christians are fervent followers of the word and I'm a free thinker. As far as I know two go to a church, and another one in my brother maybe in another [do not know if any frequents lately]. No, not the proximity to home that counts is the affinity with the pastor or minister and because of this has changed a lot of churches.
Realize? If in a family with same father, same mother, language, region growing, until the schools were in the same neighborhood, finally, if we find so much diversity in this small sample it expands to 7 Billion.
If my brothers and I are in our nature not equal the Communist state should force being equal, common. Then the state would force everyone to not profess any religion or choose a religion that they were all obliged to profess.
Huh? Do you think the state could choose to let us FREE on this choice?
It turns out that freedom of choice would lead inevitably to Capitalism and Democracy ...
