"The Bible is a unique book, produced in the former East, which shapes
the modern West." [Rogério]

Less huh, well less!
As our Western society is organized has more influences of Greco-Roman and Anglo-Saxon than the Bible itself.
Eg The Bible never fought against slavery, was never a feminist, never been democratic.
We can say that the Bible in the Middle Ages was the creation of the West just as the Koran is the Muslims.
When established secular states do indeed begin to modernize.
Do not forget that important books as the Origin of Species was published only around 1850 are only 160 years. Have you thought about how this is recent history?
As I said yesterday the "allegiance" preached by old books and scrolls is still steeped in soul or genes [as they please].
We were overwhelmed by some empire or the Church and it defined what we could read the "good press".
In the future I hope you have fewer Rogérios ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
I, Darwin, Socrates, Confucius, Machiavelli, Voltaire, Plato, Thomas Jefferson, Franklin, Edison, Ford, Copernicus, Newton, Rui Barbosa ... men, only men, not saints or prophets, just men writing a new story, a new book that the love of god is not sacred ... HAHAHAHAHAHA!
If we were expelled from eating the fruit of knowledge and we are paying for it, why, we have the right KNOWLEDGE, already cost us so dearly that it is better to use it.
